Join the March to End Fossil Fuels in Sacramento 8/22/23

This September, we’re turning up the pressure and putting the spotlight on two executives who need to be doing much, much more to combat the climate crisis.

President Biden, despite promising to end drilling on federal lands, has outpaced Trump with his fossil fuel permit approvals. At home, Governor Newsom claims to be a climate champion – but leaves most of his authority unused when it comes to regulating oil and gas companies.

Next month, the United Nations will be holding a Climate Ambitions Summit in New York to get world leaders to commit to phasing out fossil fuels – and ending leases on public land. This moment of international pressure will be heightened by tens of thousands of activists converging on New York City in a March to End Fossil Fuels.

Here in the Bay Area we’re joining in with our own Action to End Fossil Fuels in Sacramento on September 17. Join for a family-friendly day of action with carnival games, a giant puppet show, performers and speakers, kayaktivism, and a march to the Tower Bridge!
