Make Polluters Pay – San Jose Townhall

At a time when climate-fueled disasters are driving up costs for California communities, we’re building support for the California Polluters Pay Climate Superfund Act, which would require major fossil fuel companies to help pay for the damages their products have caused. We’re also organizing in response to efforts in Congress to shield oil and gas companies from climate accountability.
The town hall will bring together South Bay community members, advocates, faith leaders, and elected officials to learn about the issue, hear local stories, and build momentum for climate accountability in California.
