Still No Coal in Oakland!

A community meeting in West Oakland will include a short history of our decade-long campaign, updates about the current situation regarding a proposed coal terminal on West Oakland’s waterfront, brainstorming in small groups about how we can make sure a coal terminal is never imposed on the West Oakland community, and what you can do now to oppose would-be coal developers’ dystopian vision. This is a chance for residents to mobilize together to keep a dangerous pollutant out of the neighborhood.
