SUMMARY:350 Bay Area Transit Picnic
DESCRIPTION:Join the 350 Bay Area Transportation Team to celebrate Transit Month and support the Regional Transit Measure on the November ballot \nWe’ll be at central lawn area (see sketch below) of the Transit Center/Salesforce Park\, a lovely 5+ acre park atop the Transit Center (an easy walk from either SF’s Embarcadero or Montgomery BART/Muni stations). If you haven’t been there\, know that it’s definitely worth the trip! Here is a calendar invite to add to your calendar. \nBring your own finger-food (we’ll also have food\, so mostly bring yourself and friends!) to this celebration and meet-up with other climate activists at this beautiful half-mile long park up above the streets of the Financial District.  We hope to enjoy good weather (but be prepared for fog . . . ) and good company and talk about promoting clean transportation and the importance of supporting the Regional Transit Measure (Measure RTM on five counties’ ballots) in working toward fewer VMTs and GHGs to help meet our climate goals. \nPlease TAKE TRANSIT to get there! Let us know if you are coming\, and we will try to send you flyers to hand out urging people to support the Regional Transit Measure on the November ballot.  The Transit Center is terminus for SF AC Transit\, Golden Gate Transit and SamTrans bus routes\, and it’s any easy walk from Embacadero and Montgomery BART/Muni stations. \nPlease let us know if you’re coming so we can get you some RTM flyers to hand out – Sara in SF –saragreenwald2@gmail.com or Jack in the East Bay–lucerofleck@gmail.com
