Making a REAL SF Climate Emergency Plan
The first hearing on the Climate Emergency plan was held on Monday July 22. The SF Climate Emergency Coalition (including us) filed a comment, and we spoke to the Supervisors during the public comment session, along with about 50 other environmentalists.
Next we get behind the planners and keep pushing for real, prompt action to cut our GHG emissions to less than half by 2030 and zero by 2045. “Keep doing what we’re doing” is not an option! Come join the teams working with city elected and appointed officials to electrify our town with clean energy.
