Family Fest at Sunday Streets, Excelsior

October 1, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

Do we need Clean Power?  Houston, the West Coast of Florida,  Puerto Rico, St Martins, Dominica  have been ravaged by hurricane force winds and flooding. So what should we do?  Let’s get off fossil fuels and start with 100% renewable energy from wind and solar!
We’ll be signing people up for 100% renewable energy with Clean Power SF at Sunday Streets in the Excelsior on October 1, 2017. There will be two shifts noon to 2pm and 2pm to 4pm.
If you want to help, RSVP to elenajengel@gmail.com

Also you can check out the rest of Sunday Streets:

Stop by the activation hub along Mission Street between 11am – 4pm to partake in the following:

  • Explore a Muni bus: Photo opportunities in the driver’s seat will be available, too.
  • Tackle our Mini Bus Madness game: A fun and frantic relay race for bus drivers of all ages! Pick up imaginary passengers and drop them off at the right stops, while avoiding overcrowding and bunching. Can you keep your bus running on schedule?
  • Create your own Muni art: we’ll have markers and paint for kiddos to create their own interior ads
  • Resources from Safe Routes to School will help you plan your trip to and from school. Plus giveaways, a raffle, and so much more.

Also, stop by the hub and share your #WhyIRide story. Say why transit matters to you and your family, or how we can make it better.
