Join the the region’s top clean energy thinkers and decision makers representing labor, government, green business, environment, and underrepresented community sectors to celebrate and strategize for energy democracy at the Clean Power, Healthy Communities Gathering on Nov 17 at the Oakland Asian Cultural Center.

 

At this gathering, you’ll learn what energy democracy is – how it’s very different from simply moving to 100% renewable energy – and how it can empower and accelerate your own work, whether you’re focusing on the environment, social justice, the local economy, labor and the workforce, or housing and displacement. This is not a sit-and-learn gathering. You will be collaborating with other decision makers who have worked hard in making decentralized energy policy and programs work in their own sector. It’s time for us to come together and collaborate for the future we all want to see.
