First in the Nation Vote to Ban Natural Gas
Thursday, May 2 @ 2:00 pm
This Thursday the Berkeley City Council’s Policy Committee on Facilities, Infrastructure, Transportation, Environment, & Sustainability (FITES) will vote on Councilmember Harrison’s proposed groundbreaking Ordinance to ban natural gas in new construction of mid/high rise residential units. We’ve been told no other jurisdiction in the country has taken this step yet. The proposal is coming from Council Members Harrison, Davilla, Bartlett, and Hahn.
