SUMMARY:California Climate Lobby Day with the Climate Center
DESCRIPTION:On April 14\, 2026\, the day after the fifth annual California Climate Policy Summit\, the Climate Center will host California Climate Lobby Day in Sacramento. The event is co-hosted with Environment California\, Union of Concerned Scientists\, and River Partners. This is a chance to meet with lawmakers and their staff to urge them to pass legislation that ensures a climate-safe future for all. Participants will be paired with a team leader and given a packet with talking points on key climate legislation. \nMorning coffee and lunch will be provided. \nParticipants must watch the recording of the lobbying training. You must register to receive the Zoom link. The training will include “lobbying 101”\, a briefing on the bills and issues\, logistics for the day\, and an opportunity for Q&A.
